The host for this year’s conference was just one of the countries in Asia that are using Bentley software. According to the Bentley brothers, the massive migration of people into cities in the region is helping the company’s business.

At present, a significant portion of the world lives in city slums. Bentley’s software could be the solution for this, as it can help reduce urban blight and “slummification.”

Bentley is also working on projects that are a part of China’s ambitious $900 billion plan to open up Asia with New Silk Roads.
