The following are the trio of Chester County schools, preceded by their rank among the state’s most expensive, and followed by their annual tuition in parentheses:
- 6. Westtown School ($55,240)
- 18. Woodlynde School ($35,625)
- 22. Church Farm School ($34,300)
The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square was not on the list. Tuition there, from Pre-K to eighth grade, ranges from $23,175 to $31,230. Tuition for grades 9-12, though, is listed at $34,095, which would’ve placed it at No. 23.
Mercersburg Academy in Franklin County tops the list with an annual price tag of $56,350, slightly more than The Hill School in Montgomery County.
