The two towns are home to a pair of pastry shops that are among the Top 25 classic bakeries in the Philadelphia area.

In addition to its wide range of daily delights, the decades-old Aux Petits Delices in Wayne also offers special treats for holidays, including Yule logs at Christmas and chocolate bunnies at Easter.

Fans of macaroons should also visit this well-known patisserie for an authentic taste of the classic treat, prepared on site by the shop’s French bakers. Easy to find at 162 East Lancaster Avenue, the bakery is renowned for its croissants, petit fours, and éclairs.

Clay’s Creative Corner Bakery in Berwyn is known on the Main Line for its delicious birthday cakes. The bakery at 700 Lancaster Avenue is also known for its themed cakes, delicious cupcakes, and its wide selection of mouthwatering donuts.
