Americans have long been intrigued by what happens inside the Oval Office, and so far, only five leaders from Chester County can say they’ve been part of President Donald Trump’s inner circle, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer report by Mari Schaefer.

Whether they walked inside the White House, met Trump at Mar-a-Lago or some other special event, or talked with the commander in chief over the phone, Politico unofficially lists 22 Pennsylvanians — many of them politicians — and 1,554 individuals nationwide who have visited with the new president.

That list includes:

• Sen. Pat Toomey
• Rep. Ryan Costello
• Rep. Pat Meehan
• Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell
• Chester County Sheriff Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh

There could be other local visitors who’ve gotten a direct line to President Trump, but the White House has declined to release a full list to the public.
