Commuter Friendly Apartments the Next Stop for Paoli Train Station

By

A developer has purchased the land next to the Paoli train station where a $40 million project aims to build 153 commuter-friendly apartments.

Paoli’s train station is one stop closer to getting the green light for four stories of next-door apartments, as Linden Lane Capital Partners just purchased the 7.45-acre Station Square site.

Now, the developer needs approval to clear the site and build the proposed $40 million project, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report by Natalie Kostelni.

“I would like to be done with the whole process before the end of the year and break ground,” said Managing Principal Michael Wachs.

The project aims to put 153 apartments on top of a parking ramp and give residents an easy commute from Paoli Station to wherever they want to go on Amtrak trains or SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Line.

The train station itself is undergoing the first phase of a planned redevelopment that will transform it into an intermodal transportation center.
