The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry has recognized Trish Faidiga, owner of West Chester’s Advantage Building and Facility Services, as Female Business Leader of the Year, writes Virginia Lindak for the Daily Local News.

The West Chester entrepreneur was presented with the award at a special dinner held recently at the Mendenhall Inn.

“For me, this honor is tremendous,” said Faidiga.

Faidiga, who started the commercial property management and maintenance company 12 years ago, is also on the boards of the Chester County Economic Development Council and the YMCA of Greater Brandywine.

Chamber CEO Guy Ciarrocchi said the event was the perfect opportunity for people to hear personal accounts from successful female business leaders. Chamber Vice President Marianne Martelli emphasized that the network of community businesswomen is very important, particularly for younger women.

“It’s really great for our younger females to see the caliber of people here,” she said.
