The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation held their annual luncheon on Wednesday, May 17th at the West Chester Golf & Country Club.

The Chamber’s Education Foundation connects two graduating seniors from each of the three West Chester Area School District high schools with mentors from Chamber member businesses in the students’ fields of interest.

In keeping with the Chamber’s mission, students are selected for their entrepreneurship and connection to the community. All six students were awarded scholarships from the Foundation.

Also included at the luncheon was the presentation of EITC (Educational Income Tax Credits) contributions from the Foundation to six Chamber member schools, and a state-of-the-district address from WCASD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. James Scanlon.
