Chester County Youth Orchestra

The Chester County Youth Orchestra (CCYO) will present its annual spring concert on Saturday, April 29 at 7:30 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church located at 10 West Pleasant Grove Road in West Chester. Tickets will be available at the door, and will benefit the mission and work of the West Chester Food Cupboard.

Under the direction of Katrina Kelly and Mark Cellini, the orchestra will perform a diverse repertoire, with compositions including “Marche Militaire” by Saint-Saens, “St. Paul’s Suite” for strings by Holst, “Les Preludes” by Liszt, and “Pavane” composed by Faure.

CCYO is seeking musically talented students from the ages of 11-18 years old. Spring audition dates for all instruments will be posted on the orchestra’s website. Auditions for instrumentation still needed will also be held in the fall.

Fox Rothschild

Mark R. Ashton, a family law attorney in the Exton office of Fox Rothschild, was recently featured on the television show The American Law Journal on the topic of “Parental Alienation, Grandparents’ Rights, and New Divorce Rules: Hot Topics in Family Law.”

Joel L. Frank

Republican Party of Pennsylvania

Joel L. Frank, a managing partner of West Chester-based Lamb McErlane, has become the Republican Party of Pennsylvania’s General Counsel. Aside from being an experienced election law attorney, Frank has served as the long-time Solicitor for the Republican Committee of Chester County.

Outside of politics, he commits his time to serving as Chair of the Board for the national nonprofit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, the mission of which is to fight and find a cure for pediatric cancer. Frank is also a Commissioner on the State Athletic Commission, having been nominated by then-Gov. Tom Corbett. He can be reached at joel@pagop.org or jfrank@lambmcerlane.com.

Initially joining Frank in the General Counsel’s office are three Deputy General Counsel. All three – Jonathan Goldstein (East), Mark Stewart (Central), and Ronald Hicks Jr. (West) – bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in election law and serving the Republican Party.
