Chester County Careers – Chester County Intermediate Unit
The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County, including nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students and more than 6,000 educators. The CCIU’s major services include special education and compensatory education programs; career, technical, and customized education; mentor training and staff development; technology initiatives; consortia for school business operations; and curriculum services.
The CCIU’s mission is to provide services that can be offered most economically at the regional level.
Director of Pupil Services
This position has direct responsibility for all special education programming, support service coordination, guidance services, psychological services, staff development, assessments, nursing, grading, scheduling, and the oversight of all aspects of pupil/student services.
The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D, an Administrative PA certificate, a special education certificate, and a minimum of six years of administrative experience with both principal and central office experience.

Downingtown Library – Library Director
This position manages the day-to-day operation of the library, including leading, developing, administering, coordinating the work of the library staff, and performing managerial duties related to personnel, budget, payroll, and benefits.
The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in library science, three years of progressive library experience, and Public Library Certification as a professional librarian from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Case Manager
This position meets the growing needs of the Advanced Clinical Services unit through student case management, supervising clinical staff, arranging services for clients, monitoring service delivery, and evaluating the outcome and continued need for services.
The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in social work, education, or a related mental/behavioral health field, a minimum of one year of relevant experience, BCBA certification or license, and preferably applied behavioral analysis experience and training.
