The Brandywine Health Foundation for a Greater Coatesville will host an educational luncheon featuring an expert panel discussion moderated by Maiken Scott, WHYY’s Behavioral Health Reporter, on Friday, March 10 from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM at the Sheraton, Great Valley Hotel in Frazer.

Registration and networking will take place from 11-11:30 AM, and the event is sponsored by Exton’s Brumbaugh Wealth Management.

The focus of the luncheon is on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and their lifelong effects on health. The luncheon will feature a panel of regional and national experts with diverse backgrounds focusing on trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and promoting resiliency at the individual, organizational, and community levels.

The goals of the luncheon include:

  • building effective cross-sector relationships
  • increasing the awareness about the value of trauma-informed approaches
  • creating a common language around ACEs and trauma in the Greater Coatesville area

Tickets for the event are $35, and can be purchased here or by calling 610-380-9080.

Lunch will be provided, and a Q&A session will follow the panel discussion.
