RN Supervisor

This position promotes and restores residents’ health by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual care. He/she integrates Barclay Friends’ mission and belief statement into the management of healthcare on the unit and into staff development. The person demonstrates specialized comprehensive knowledge and professional judgment while administering nursing care.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an approved Professional Nursing school and have a current Registered Professional Nurse license. He/she will also have a valid CPR license. The person will have two to three years of clinical nursing experience.

Certified Dietary Manager

This position maintains the food service area by planning, controlling, and overseeing food preparation, including sanitation, education, inventory, purchasing, service, and managing residents’ therapeutic diets. He/she will complete other duties, including completing references for employees.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of food service experience. He/she will have Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification, though Certified Food Manager (CFM) certification is preferred.

Health Services Administrator

This position successfully operates the health services, personal care, and support departments. He/she ensures the efficient and cost effective use of all resources according to the values, practices, and policies of the Board of Directors and The Kendal Corporation. The person supports and assists research in healthcare and health issues for the aging, working cooperatively as appropriate with other institutions and associations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of successful relevant work experience or a master’s degree with five years of relevant work experience. He/she will have a Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator’s license. The person will have a thorough understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and the reimbursement process.
