Berwyn’s Triumph Group Feeling Triumphant After $52 Million Deal with Rolls Royce

TriumphA new parts contract is propelling business to new heights at Triumph Group.

The Berwyn aircraft supplier has agreed to a $52 million deal with Rolls Royce to build a critical engine-aircraft thrust link for its Trent XWB jet engine used on Airbus airliners.

The contract is for eight years, with delivery of the thrust links by the Triumph Precision Components division starting in 2019, after two years of testing by Triumph Integrated Systems.

“This contract with Rolls Royce demonstrates how Triumph businesses work together to meet the needs of our customer as One Triumph,” Executive Vice President Rick Rosenjack said. “We look forward to supporting the Trent XWB engine program for many years to come.”
