Data Management Specialist

This position manages the process by which vendor-supplied product information is added to QVC’s internal systems. He/she verifies data integrity for all information used to support product claims with a focus on consistency and accuracy of approved product content standards. The person analyzes all content that supports vendor-supplied products for sale online, ensuring that the information is accurate and in accordance with corporate guidelines and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in English, information management, business administration, or an equivalent major. He/she will have a minimum of three years of work experience. A quality assurance, electronics retailing, or legal background is a plus. The person will have experience leading process improvement projects.

Accountant

This position records transactions for the U.S. business impacting net revenue and accounts receivables. He/she prepares various account reconciliations and SOX controls. The person accounts for the company’s private label credit card. He/she records various journal entries and assists with the check and wire audit.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He/she will have a minimum of two years of public accounting experience. The person must have extensive Excel skills and SAP experience. He/she will preferably be a CPA.

Manager – Internal Controls

This position performs annual and ongoing risk assessments in accordance with COSO 2013, including maintenance of the control register and an inventory of SOX-relevant IT applications. He/she prepares and educates business partners and control owners on the requirements and expectations for internal controls assessments. The person builds and maintains a collaborative relationship with internal and external auditors and other risk owners related to the company’s internal controls program.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. He/she will have four to six years of public accounting experience, preferably big four, and/or internal audit experience. The person will preferably be a CPA or a CISA with financial exposure.
