stable-12-firebirdThe team that brings the burning of the phoenix to the neighborhood needs your help in generating much-needed funds to support this year’s Firebird Festival.

If you’d like to help without making a direct donation, consider stopping into Stable 12 Brewing Company on Sunday, Nov. 20 and Sunday, Nov. 27. Stable 12 will donate 10 percent of every food and drink check to the effort to preserve this legendary tradition.

New to the craft beer scene in Chester County, Stable 12 Brewery had a modest beginning, with three beer-loving best friends from high school. They decided to adopt a new hobby after college, focusing on something they all love: high-quality, homemade beer.

Having quickly outgrown the kitchen they started in, they ended up in a vacant barn at the family horse farm they grew up on, and began brewing in earnest.

It was from this barn that Stable 12 Brewery was born.

Whether growing their own hops, updating their infrastructure, or testing new recipes, there is always something new on the horizon at Stable 12 Brewing Company.

CEO Richard Wolf grew up on his family farm in Skippack, and has since enlisted his wife to be a vital part of the operation. CFO Chris Carbutt grew up in Collegeville, but solidified his relationship with Richard at Penn State in the Pi Lamda Phi fraternity. Mike Deger, a Phoenixville local with roots in Deger’s Dairy, rounds out the trio with his years of professional brewing experience that commenced with Sly Fox Brewing in 2010.

Stable 12 Brewing Company – serving from the barn to the bottle, beer with a kick – is located at 368 Bridge Street in Phoenixville.
