QVC West Chester Christmas Parade Ready for Lights, Camera, Action!

By

Thanks to a worldwide audience provided by QVC, this year’s West Chester Christmas Parade is all set to become a blockbuster holiday event.

With West Chester’s premier home shopping network on the set, the QVC West Chester Christmas Parade is ready for the lights, camera and action on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:15pm.

The 37th annual Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and Under the Sun Productions event will once again showcase spectacular floats, giant inflatable character balloons, dozens of marching bands, dance troupes, performance groups and antique cars to the world with live and holiday broadcasts of the parade into over 100 million households.

Surrounding the parade and Santa’s ride through West Chester, area businesses will band together to form the Holiday Village, a merry little hub of tents on High Street, where those passing through can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, Mrs. Prindables chocolate dipped pretzels, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Don’t forget about the Toy Drive, collected at WSFS Bank locations until Dec. 3, and the ACAC Jingle Elf Run, a costumed walk/run event right before the QVC West Chester Christmas Parade that’s put on by ACAC and the Chester County Running Store.

Local bands set to entertain the crowd are from East, Henderson and Rustin high schools, as well as West Chester University.
