Malvern’s Aclaris Therapeutics has been honored as one of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for 2016 by the Best Companies Group.

Created 16 years ago, the awards program is one of the first state programs nationwide.

To win the achievement, companies have to fulfill several requirements, including having a facility in Pennsylvania, boosting the local economy, and having at least 25 employees.

“It is a great honor to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania,” said Dr. Neal Walker, President and CEO of Aclaris.

Walker added that the company has built an extraordinary team of people who are all fully committed to developing and commercializing new treatment options for patients with visible skin and hair conditions.

Aclaris will receive the award on Thursday, Dec. 1 during an awards banquet at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster.
