Cochranville native Cierra Runge officially punched her ticket to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro last month.
Now, her family needs your help in financing theirs.
Runge, a member of the United States’ 4×200-meter freestyle relay team, has fulfilled her lifelong dream of making it to the world’s largest stage. And her family – who played such a critical role in her development, investing so much in her passion for the sport – would like nothing more than to share the moment with her.
The cost for the Runge family – mother Diane, father Scott, brother Taylor, and sister Maddie – to travel to Brazil is well north of $10,000.

The family has some creative rewards for those who are able to help its dream become a reality. Some of them include:
- $25 will earn you a postcard from The Runges in Brazil
- $35 will earn you the family’s secret recipe for clean, healthy, energy bites
- $50 will earn you a #TeamRunge t-shirt
- $100 will earn you an event trading pin from the family
