House of the Week: Modern Serenity Tucked Away in the Trees

By

From its unique perch up in the trees, this three-story House of the Week offers a magnificent setting and contemporary style at the edge of Exton.

There’s a slice of serenity tucked away in the treetops just outside Exton, and it’s looking for just the third owner since it was built in 1968.

The 2,670 square feet of 561 Cole Brook Road ascend vertically into the trees, and magnificent window views look out to an acre of surrounding canopy.

Stunning views await the next owner of this Exton home.

The unique three-story treehouse featuring glass walls, a large deck, a cylindrical fireplace, beautiful wood flooring and trim, and unique angles reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright recently hit the market for $595,000, according to a Realtor.com report by Craig Donofrio.

“You’re up high there with the trees, where all the leaves are. It’s what makes it so appealing,” BHHS Fox & Roach Agent Floranne Burns said in the article. “With the contemporary design, you’ll notice everything that’s around you.”

The four-bedroom house sits on a semi-secluded hill near the Whitford Country Club, the amenities of central Exton and Route 30 access to endless Chester County destinations.
