At its core are four of the region’s most respected acute care hospitals, one of which is Paoli Hospital, as well as one of the nation’s premier facilities for rehabilitative medicine. A team of more than 10,000 employees and 2,000 physicians care for patients throughout Main Line Health’s continuum of care. The following positions are available at Paoli Hospital:

Coordinator, Quality Outcomes

This position oversees and performs the clinical data abstraction of patient records, both concurrently and retrospectively, using the CMS/Joint Commission guidelines. He/she reviews the patient’s chart, history of present illness, test results, and clinical markers to determine which patients are included and excluded from the Joint Commission/CMS measures using specific criteria and guidelines. The person must demonstrate well-developed critical thinking skills, which are required to analyze and interpret these data and ensure that the proper care is given utilizing evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field, and have a minimum of seven years of healthcare experience, preferably within an acute care hospital. He/she should also have a minimum of three years of experience in quality improvement in an acute care setting. The person should have familiarity with and ability to work with computer-based clinical information systems.

Manager, Telecom Operators

This position will supervise the daily activities of the Telecommunications Shift Supervisors and the Telecommunications Operator staff to provide all telecommunications services for the Main Line Hospitals. He/she must be flexible in working all shifts and weekends when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business or telecommunications, and have five years of experience in telecommunications and three years on a supervision/management level.

Site Supervisor, Case Management

This position provides comprehensive assessment of and intervention with patients in the hospital in order to address the full range of psychosocial needs presented by patients. He/she will ensure appropriate disposition of inpatients to the proper setting in a rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility, or a psychiatric facility. The person assumes responsibility for facilitating routine returns to skilled nursing facilities when the patient has a new level of care or requires additional insurance pre-certification.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work – L.S.W. is preferred – and have a minimum of one year of experience in a comparable healthcare setting.
