Matt Krueger, Vice President of Victory Brewing’s Retail Operations has been an integral part of Downingtown-based craft beer company since he was hired to be their General Manager in 2003.

Now, one week shy of his 13^th Anniversary, the Vice President with two new brew pubs and an expanded brewery under his belt, has chosen to say good-bye.

“Victory is a results driven, product driven business, and it’s taught me a lot,” says Matt on his final day at the helm.  “I’ve had the privilege of hosting beer dinners for the likes of the late, great Michael Jackson and the talented Garrett Oliver.  Victory has given me some amazing opportunities.”

Under Matt’s tutelage, Victory has grown from a staff of 35 in the restaurant and 30 in the brewery to over 300 restaurant employees and nearly 200 in the expanded brewery.  In its infancy, Victory’s Downingtown Brew Pub sat 143 guests but now boasts nearly 300 seats.  Matt’s vision and leadership were a driving force in the expansion and Victory’s continued growth as a restaurant, caterer, and brewpub on wheels.

Proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Chester County’s Economic Development Council, Matt is delighted to continue bringing jobs to the county in his new role as owner of a Window Genie franchise to be based in Malvern.

Touting Victory as a vessel that contributed significantly to his professional and personal growth, Matt says that starting a franchise and being his own boss was a logical next step in his career trajectory.

“I’m off to Cincinnati on Monday to learn everything about my new industry,” Matt excitedly explains.  “We offer a myriad of services from window cleaning to tinting, pressure washing, screen repair, to hanging and storing Christmas lights. And we’re hiring!”
