Current or soon-to-be owners of historic stone built houses in Chester County are being invited by the DIY Network to apply to be a part of its new home renovation show, writes Kara Seymour for Patch.

The network is searching for fun and outgoing homeowners who are in need of some restoration work in one or several rooms of their historic, stone house.

“For example, do you have a room that is severely outdated or has a horrible layout? Or some living spaces that need to be restored? If so, we would love to hear from you!” invites the network.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the show and possibly getting some time in the limelight has to apply by August 1st. Homeowners in neighboring counties are also being sought by the network.

In order to be considered for the show, homeowners need to submit contact information, a detailed description of the rooms that need renovating, and a description of the family complete with photos to castingstonehomes@gmail.com by no later than August 1st.

“The Treehouse Guys,” “Rehab Addict,” and “Barnwood Builders” are just some of the shows that are owned by Scripps Networks Interactive and currently being aired by the network.
