Chester County Has Cornucopia of Farmers Markets

By

With fresh produce just starting to be harvested in Chester County, a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables will soon overflow from local farmers markets.

Farm stands across Chester County are filling up with fresh fruits and vegetables, and by the end of the month their offerings will be spilling over with a cornucopia of delicious produce.

The nutritious goodness is flowing in from Barnard’s Orchard in Pocopson, Hurricane Hill Farm Market in West Brandywine, Landhope Farm Market in Unionville, Hidden Valley Farm Market in Kennett Square, Kennett Square Farmers Market and Oxford Farmers Market, according to a Daily Local News report by Chris Barber.

And laid out alongside the blueberries, peaches, apples, cantaloupes, tomatoes, corn, squash, string beans, eggplant, peppers, carrots and more in some places are tasty goodies like pies, cakes, breads, meats, herbs, muffins, ice cream and candy.

Pair that with knickknacks, antiques, furniture and other crafts and collectibles, and you have quite the outing.
