Shawn Glick, CFO of Pottstown’s Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. has been named as one of the 40 most accomplished young business professionals in the region by Lehigh Valley Business.

“Forty Under 40” celebrates the most accomplished young business people in the Greater Lehigh Valley who have demonstrated a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and the community.

“These folks are truly making an impact on the business community and making the region a great place to work and live,” said publisher, Mike O’Rourke.

Glick was originally hired as a Widener University student in 1998, which quickly turned into a full-time position.

He progressed into leadership early in his career, transitioning over the years from the leader of the firm’s Corporate Accounting and Human Resources teams, to associate and shareholder, after which he was promoted to his current position. Now, as CFO of TPD, he is responsible for overseeing corporate and operations services company-wide.

Glick, who is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Widener University, was also recognized with the 2015 CFO of the Year award in the Best Turnaround Specialist category from LVB in September last year.

A resident of Pottsgrove with his wife and two sons, Glick is also a key member of several local boards and committees and actively participates in community service projects.
