The creative minds of the Phoenixville faithful are once again crafting the look that will take over the town during this year’s Phoenixville Firebird Festival, set for Dec. 3.

Open to anyone, the second annual Firebird Festival T-shirt design contest is now underway. Entries need to be emailed to phoenixvillefirebird@gmail.com by June 30, according to a Phoenixville Patch report by Justin Heinze.

The only requirements are that designers use up to three colors in order to enable Firebird Festival organizers to print the design on T-shirts, and that the year and the designer’s signature are included in the design.

Once received, all entries will compete in a public vote throughout the month of July, and the winner will be unveiled during August’s First Friday — Phoenixville’s monthly tradition of live music, theatrical performances, local artists and fun surprises.
