Exton based Bentley Systems, the global leader in software solutions for advancing infrastructure, has announced a call for submissions for this year’s annual Be Inspired Awards competition.
The awards celebrate the extraordinary work of organizations that help advance the world’s infrastructure. This includes all stages of creating stronger, more sustainable, and intelligent roads, bridges, buildings, plants, water distribution networks, as well as a host of other infrastructure assets.
The comprehensive, worldwide program has 18 Be Inspired Awards categories in areas such as innovation in asset performance, building, construction and government. There is also a new category this year, innovation in reality modeling. This will recognize projects that demonstrate excellence in reality capture and/or visualization and answer a specific design, construction, or operations challenge.
The awards have recognized over 2,000 of the world’s most outstanding infrastructure advancements since 2004 and will be part of the Year in Infrastructure 2016 Conference at the Hilton London Metropole, in London, U.K, from November 1st to 3rd.
All users of Bentley solutions are invited to enter their projects for the 2016 Be Inspired Awards program by June 10th, regardless of the project’s phase. Three finalists will be selected for each category, all of which will win a trip to the United Kingdom to attend The Year in Infrastructure 2016 Conference as a guest of Bentley Systems.
There, the finalists will get the opportunity to present their projects in the competition’s finals before independent juries of industry experts, industry thought leaders and over 100 members of the media.
