The far-reaching global success of Vanguard Group has made just as big an impact in the world-class investment leader’s backyard as it has in investors’ brokerage accounts, and it has come from members all across Vanguard’s C-suite.

To honor that remarkable local business and civic leadership, the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry is doing something it has never done before: bestow its top executive accolade to the entire Vanguard senior leadership team led by Chairman and CEO Bill McNabb.

“Vanguard has long been a valued member and partner of CCCBI,” Chairman Kim Brumbaugh said. “As the largest employer headquartered in Chester County, Vanguard has helped to drive the county’s economic growth. The senior leadership team has been a true supporter of our mission and our board, and the team’s 12 members are leaders within our community.”

And Chester County’s thriving quality of life is valued just as much by the county’s preeminent employer.

“This is a wonderful recognition for Vanguard,” McNabb said. “Our team is honored and humbled by this award. It’s a reflection of the many important partnerships that Vanguard has in the greater Chester County community and the pride we take in calling this place our home.”

The 2016 Executives of the Year will be awarded during the CCCBI annual dinner on Nov. 10 at Longwood Gardens.

“Our Chamber is proud to honor Bill McNabb and the entire senior team because we recognize the important role that Vanguard plays in the world economy and as a cornerstone of our local community,” President and CEO Guy Ciarrocchi said. “This event celebrates business excellence and community leadership.
