7.16.2015 Acero3Procurement Specialist

This position will establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance, verify purchase requisitions for appropriate approval, and assign expense account numbers. He/she will trace and expedite late deliveries, and maintain delivery performance log for all vendors within the Enterprise Resource Planning system.

The person will manage, negotiate, and execute all contracts, and partner with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation of the requirements. He/she will work with requests for quotes, RFP’s, bids, contracts, purchase orders, and other documents. The position will also develop new supply sources where vendors are inadequate and have second source of supply.

The position will track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. He/she will forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power, and will perform cost analysis and benchmarking with new vendor targets vs. existing standards.

The person will consistently use problem-solving skills to discover the cause and solutions of purchase and delivery issues within the ERP software.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration. He/she should have at least five years of experience in procurement functions, supporting manufacturing operations and demonstrating increasing degrees of responsibilities and accomplishments. The person should have a strong commitment to detail and error-free performance, as well as a mechanical aptitude.

HR Generalist

This position will be responsible for recruiting, marketing, benefits/compensation, employee relations, and database management. Recruiting tasks include creating and implementing job postings to procure candidates, and sourcing potential candidates through job sites, social media, and the companies’ internal referral program.

Marketing responsibilities include leveraging social media to efficiently market the organization, while promoting the companies’ mission and values. He/she will represent and champion the company as a “good-will ambassador” through attendance at job fairs, career events, and other venues.

The person will administer all mandated and optional benefit programs including health care, insurance, 401K, FSA, paid benefit time, FMLA, WC, STD/LTD, Cobra, and unemployment. This role has direct oversight of the payroll processing systems, ensuring all regulatory compliance areas are up to date and well maintained.

The position will work with all staff and management members to ensure that all associates are treated in a fair and consistent manner. He/she will contribute to staff development and training initiatives, and maintain records of all certifications and industry standards.

The candidate will also manage administrative responsibilities for the Human Capital Team, including scanning, filing, faxing, and various administration tasks within the organization’s Human Resource Information System database.
