VIDEO: United Way Holds UPS Helicopter Ball Drop, Announces Winners
The UPS Helicopter Ball Drop benefitting the United Way of Chester County’s Financial Stability Center has produced a winner!
After more than a week of weather delays, the helicopter finally got off the ground May 12 on the grounds of Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville. John Coombe, from UPS Chesapeake District, took a ride on the copter and dumped the numbered balls over the United Way flag!
Only ½ inch separated first and second place! Because of the generosity of UPS Chesapeake District’s sponsorship, every penny of ball purchases totaling over $5,000 will benefit the United Way Financial Stability Center.
The winners of the Helicopter Ball Drop for United Way follow. Thank you to everyone who supported United Way and the Financial Stability Center.
