Senior Corporate Accountant

This position will maintain GAAP corporate general ledger and prepare/review monthly/quarterly journal entries. He/she will produce clear and organized workpapers that adequately support the Company’s SEC filings and the internal/external audit process. The person will also assist in the preparation, review, and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on Form 10-Q and 10-K.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and have at least two years of accounting experience. Public Accounting experience is strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills are required, as are strong technical accounting skills.

Senior Data Scientist

This position will lead the continued enhancement of the Company’s revenue management system, interfacing with both internal and external analytical and development resources. This will include direct interaction with a renowned academic expert in the Revenue Management discipline, with whom CubeSmart maintains a consulting relationship. He/she will own the development of demand forecasting and optimization models. The person will also assist in the definition, implementation, and refinement of all downstream business applications of any forecasting output.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics), and have one to five years of relevant professional experience. He/she should have a strong background in applied statistics (regression analysis), microeconomics (discrete choice modeling), and mathematical optimization.

Junior Applications Developer

This position will assist with the administration, enhancements, and migration of core platforms, including the Business Process Management system. He/she will also be able to explore other types of .NET development, as well as a wide range of other technologies. The person will develop and maintain MVC projects, and contribute to the design and maintenance of the Data Warehouse. This position will also observe and advise in the technical design and development of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have exposure in Web UX frameworks, AJAX, Javascript, and exposure to the .NET framework (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server database systems. He/she should be a “T-shaped” person, having a wide range of interests and in-depth knowledge of one aspect. Experience with cloud services is a plus, as is experience with database design and query tuning.
