Vanguard Group Chairman and CEO F. William McNabb III is scheduled to deliver this spring’s commencement address to more than 100 students at Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies in Malvern.

Great Valley’s 26th annual graduation celebration will center on the advice of a man with 20 years of leadership experience at one of the largest investment companies in the world. His valuable insights have not only been sought by Vanguard’s 20 million clients but also respected organizations and institutions across the spectrum of life, including the Investment Company Institute, the Zoological Society of Philadelphia, the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board and the Dartmouth Athletic Advisory Board.

McNabb, whose alma maters are Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, led each of Vanguard’s client-facing business divisions before ascending to the chief executive role in 2008.

Great Valley’s 7 p.m. commencement event will take place outdoors under a festive blue and white tent on the Great Valley campus.
