Assistant Director Voter Services

The position will supervise the operations of the department in conformance with the election laws and regulations. He/she will direct the activities of Voter Services staff to ensure efficient and effective work products, and assist in directing and organizing elections, ensuring that all mandated deadlines be met. The person is also responsible for preparing instruction manuals and conducting training classes, as well as assisting in preparation of accurate voter registration lists and managing voter registration tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have knowledge of Pennsylvania election and voter registration laws or the ability to learn them. He/she will have office management experience, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and deal tactfully with difficult people. Strong budget management skills are required.

Accounts & Special Projects Coordinator

This position performs accounting functions requiring in-depth knowledge of the County’s financial and billing systems. He/she will work under minimal supervision and is responsible for providing the department with advanced fiscal and billing support so that county programs may be effectively and efficiently provided. The person will also work with contacts at the State to ensure funding, supplies, and compliance with State Licensing requirements.

The candidate must be a highly motivated individual with the flexibility to back up and assist multiple positions within the department. The salary range for the position begins at $35,631.96 based on education and experience. The position requires 35 hours per week.

Early Intervention Service Coordinator

This position will facilitate, coordinate, and monitor services for children, aged birth to three years old at-risk or with at least a 25 percent delay in one area of development. He/she will work with families in their homes and/or in the community. Travel to attend meetings offsite is required.

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree – which includes 12 college credits in early intervention, early childhood special education, or a related field – and one year of full-time experience working with or providing counseling to children, families, or individuals with disabilities. If the candidate does not have a Bachelor’s Degree, he/she must have an Associate’s Degree – or 60 credits in a related field – and have three years of full-time experience.
