Paralegal

This position will perform substantial legal work under the direction and general supervision of the Corporate Secretary and Staff Attorneys. He/she will be responsible for a variety of functions to minimize costs for outside counsel and to provide seamless support to AMETEK businesses. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining minutes, resolutions, various corporate filings, and other corporate records for AMETEK’s domestic entities. The person will also oversee the law department budget, billing, and monthly ledger reconciliation.

The candidate will possess a Paralegal certificate and be a licensed professional notary with a minimum of five years of paralegal experience. He/she will be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010.

Benefits Compliance Manager

This new position will become a key member of the Corporate Benefits management team at the global headquarters. The person will be responsible for the design, communication, and ongoing compliance of AMETEK’s Employee Benefit plans, including Retirement, Health and Welfare, and Executive plans. Other responsibilities include working with vendors and other subject matter experts on the review and design of benefit options and the implementation of new plans and changes to existing plans.

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Finance, or Business Administration, and CEBs (Certified Benefits Professionals) are preferred. He/she must have ten or more years of relevant work experience including, designing communication for open enrollment, writing summary plan documents, and summaries of material modifications, and assuring that all plans are consistent with plan provisions, contract arrangements, and regulatory requirements.
