Kimberly J. Brumbaugh, the founder and CEO of Exton based Brumbaugh Wealth Management recently attended the annual Barron’s Top Women Adviser’s Summit. The conference is an exclusive gathering where Barron’s “Top 100 Women Financial Advisors”, as well as  400 other female advisors widely recognized as being top industry performers, get together to find new ways help drive the industry forward.

The goal of the conference, which was held in Palm Beach from December 2nd to 4th, is for participants to share best practices and generate new ideas from across the industry while at the same time promote the value of providing expert advice to investors. To facilitate this, attendees participated in peer-led sessions sharing wealth management strategies and also got the chance to hear from several keynote speakers throughout the event, from both inside and outside the industry.

Brumbaugh, who has just taken up the position as the Chairperson of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, is now the second of only two women to lead the organization.  As a registered representative of Lincoln Financial Advisors, she has been working in the financial services industry for the last 18 years and has always been a champion for women advisors. She founded Brumbaugh Wealth Management in 2004, to provide business owners, executives and retirees with individually crafted retirement plans.

“This conference was once again, an amazing experience,” said Brumbaugh. “The speakers and sessions were wonderful and I continue to be inspired by our industry’s top women advisors and their passion for serving and advocating for clients. Each year I bring back at least one great idea to integrate into my practice.”
