The Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies is a special-mission campus located in Malvern. Academic programs include education, engineering, MBA, and management. Classes are geared toward working adults, and meet evenings and Saturdays.
Management Instructors – Summer 2016
These positions will be part-time (non-tenure track) in the school’s Management graduate programs. Teaching assignments may include online or at the campus in Malvern in late afternoons and evenings.
A Master’s Degree is required for this position, and prior teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level, is required. Research Assistant/Systems Engineering
This position will be part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week, funded for up to one semester from the date of hire, with the possibility of reappointment depending upon funding. The candidate will work under the supervision of a faculty member to support research aimed at developing simulation software for making statistical inference from life test data observed at a number of levels of applied stress.
The candidate will possess a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or a related field. He/she will have experience in numerical analysis and Matlab programming and an elementary familiarity with probability and probability distributions.
