Staff Accountant

This position will provide accounting services and support to the regional staff, and maintain the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting and recognition. He/she will review, research, and approve accounts payable invoices to ensure accurate recording and timely payment. The person will also set up appropriate job costing budgets for lease transaction costs and prepare accruals and related journal entries when necessary.

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and have one to three years of prior accounting experience. CPAs are preferred, as well as those with property management accounting and/or JD Edwards experience. He/she must be proficient in Microsoft Office and strong in Excel.
