Patient Service Representative

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is a highly motivated individual, who is responsible for the intake/patient registration process.  The individual in this position performs vital roles in customer service and data collections for the health system.  The PSR performs multi-task duties to ensure efficiency in daily business operations.  All duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory guidelines and the Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital mission, philosophy, policies and procedures while focusing on the delivery of customer service excellence and Hematology and Oncology services.

The ideal Patient Services Representative candidate must have a High School diploma, be proficient in the use of personal computers with a basic knowledge of computer software, e.g. Word and Excel and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to speak Spanish and prior experience in a healthcare environment including cash collections, insurance knowledge is a plus.

Employment Coordinator

Responsible for providing administrative support for the employment function of the Human Resources and Organizational Development department.  Primary areas of emphasis are onboarding, compliance, and the coordination of employee engagement activities including new employee orientation.  

The Employment Coordinator position at Chester County Hospital requires a Bachelor’s degree and/or certification in Human Resources and at least one year experience in Human Resources or other related field.  Familiarity with a hospital environment and healthcare careers and experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems are strongly desired.

Librarian

The Librarian at Chester County Hospital is responsible for administration of all library operations, including collection development and management (acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, budgeting), customer assistance (database searching, inter-library loans, answering reference questions) and promotion of library resources and services.

Librarian candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science, with qualifications relevant to the administration of a hospital library.  Minimum of two years experience as a librarian preferred.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and aptitude for detail work.  Must be able to work with technology pertinent to library needs.
