Project Accountant

IMC Construction has an opening for a Project Accountant to track the financial progress of projects, which can then be used by managers to aid project management.  Once hired, the Project Accountant will review, code and enter A/P invoices, process checks, check requests and credit card authorizations, report cash disbursements and set-up new Vendors. The Project Accountant will review and reconciliation of expense reports and the corporate credit card monthly and prepare and disburse payment to subcontractors.

The Project Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or two year Associates degree with two years experience and/or equivalent of four years administrative experience as well as be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Some experience with Sage Software (TimberScan/Timberline) and project management software applications (Primavera, ProLog, etc.) is preferred.

Business Development / Sales

IMC Construction has a career opening for a Business Development specialist to create long-term value for an for the company and its customers in the in institutional and healthcare sectors.  Once hired the Business Development leader will leverage existing and past client relationships to drive new business and identify, develop and recommend opportunities for new accounts/clients.  Once identified, the Business Development specialist will execute business development and marketing activities that land new projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million.

A minimum of 5-10 years working in Business Development/Project Development for a general contractor in commercial & institutional construction is required for the job as is experience working with a variety of construction projects and contract types including lump sum, design build and construction management.

Virtual Design Technician

IMC Construction wants to hire a Virtual Design Technician to assist in the implementation and use of various CAD/BIM applications including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Sketchup, Google Earth, AutoCAD, and Blue Beam.  Once onboard, the Virtual Design Technician will support pre-construction activities by working with the sales, project management, and project accounting and assist in the creation and implementation of project-specific BIM Execution Plans and 4D models for schedule and sequencing visualizations.

A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience is preferred. A comprehensive understanding of building / site design and documentation as well as a knowledge of construction nomenclature and techniques (means and methods) and various building types is essential. Experience implementing and using CAD/BIM-related software and visualization tools is required.
