Resource Center Coordinator

UTI is looking for a Resource Center Coordinator to maintain the daily operations in the campus resource center by assisting and instructing students and staff on search and retrieval of information; and providing students with identification badges, parking passes, textbooks, and/or other items.

The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, have a valid high school diploma or GED, be proficient on MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and possess strong communications (written and verbal) and customer service skills. In addition the person hired in this position must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds throughout the workday.

Registrar

UTI has an opening for a Registrar to audits all new student and ensure enrollment agreements are fully executed in manner consistent with accreditation and regulatory requirements.  Once hired the Registrar audits daily attendance data and course grades to ensure accurate records are maintained. At UTI the Registrar is responsible for evaluating and approving secondary education credentials to ensure students meet UTI admissions criteria in compliance with all State and Accreditation standards.

The Registrar position requires a high school diploma or completion of a GED program and at least two years experience with file management, record keeping or auditing. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills are essential as is a basic knowledge of computing and word processing applications.

Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid Advisor at UTI builds rapport, delivers clear and accurate information, offers effective solutions, and maintains contact with students, their families and other influencers as they move through the financial aid process. The Financial Aid Advisor provides the best possible experience for students during every interaction works diligently to uncover hidden issues and offer creative solutions to assist students in addressing barriers to starting or continuing in school. A successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively in a fast paced environment, be detail oriented, have strong follow-up skills, and communicate in a friendly and compassionate manner.

The Financial Aid Advisor position requires a high school diploma or a GED with some college experience preferred. 3 or more years of experience in customer service or sales and at least 2 years financial aid experience is preferred.  Strong customer service, organizational and communications skills are essential as is basic MS Office competency. The ability to multi-task and manage time  effectively is a big plus.
