Jones’ Food Street Journal: Something Grilled

Why not go for some ribs!

Something Grilled used to be in Honeybrook, but now they are in Exton in the same shopping center as Produce Junction on Route 100. It’s a small place, but it was full on a recent Friday night. As the word gets around it may be harder to get a table. This place is good!

1.2.2014-Something-Grilled4When someone’s grilling I go for the baby back ribs ($17.95). My niece Samantha also went for the ribs. You get two sides, I went for the sautéed spinach and grilled veggies.

Both were very good. Samantha took the mashed potatoes and cole slaw. She said the slaw was better than her Dad’s and that is high praise indeed. She also thought the ribs were better than Applebee’s which she gets often.

Lin got brisket and pulled pork, with the spinach and mac and cheese. I had to help with the meat and she still took some home. The mac and cheese was very good, but in all honesty if you go someplace that messes up mac and cheese that would be pretty pathetic.

The service here is very cordial. They were always stopping by to check on us. Drinks are served in preserve glasses. They are a BYOB, which actually makes 3 in the same shopping center.1.2.2014-Something-Grilled2

We love Produce Junction, but add the Indian Hut and Han Dynasty to Something Grilled and you have quite a bonanza of food in one shopping center.
