The Iron Hill Twilight Criterium, 7:45 P.M.

The streets of downtown West Chester will be teeming with excitement as hundreds of cyclists race through the challenging circuit at speeds in excess of 35mph. Adding importance to the event this year: West Chester;s event will be the ninth race of ten in the prestigious USA CRITS Championship Series, making it one of the last opportunities for riders to protect or improve their standings before the final invitational. The action begins and ends at the intersection of Gay and High Streets, home of the title sponsor Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.

  There’s something for everyone at the popular Kinetic Physical Therapy Community Festival, featuring a business bazaar, food stands and numerous other activities.
• Meet WHYY’s “You Bet Your Garden” host Mike McGrath Starting at 4:00 P.M.
  WHYY’s nationally syndicated host of “You Bet Your Garden” will talk one-on-one with you about everything having to do with your lawn and garden.
• West Chester Dental Arts Kids’ Race, 4:00 P.M.
  Children will want to take part in the West Chester Dental Arts Kids’ Race.

Everyone wins an official Iron Hill Twilight Criterium medal just for participating in this friendly event as children between the ages of 3 and 10 peddle their two- and three-wheel bikes fast and furiously towards the finish line to the cheers of their families and friends.

• Twilight Trike Challenge Presented by Tolsdorf Oil Lube Express, 4:45 P.M.
  A series of hot-handed, cold-blooded heats down Gay Street on tricycles. Are you up to the challenge?
