Neighborhood Health, a not-for-profit, provider of home health, hospice, and outreach services to the people in Chester County and the surrounding areas, has three Chester County jobs listed on their career page.

Registered Nurse

Penn Medicine, Home Health Department, is seeking a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse will provide home nursing care based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process. The qualified applicant will evaluate, regularly evaluate the nursing needs of the client, initiate/develop, implement and makes necessary revision to the clients’ plan of care including visit frequency. The Registered Nurse will assess the clients continual care needs, and address all problems in the plan of care or documents rationale for not doing so.

The optimal candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), a license to practice professional nursing in the state, a current CPR certifications, and at least one year of nursing experience.

Administrative Assistant

Penn Medicine is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The candidate will assist the President and Chief Executive Officer and the administrative staff of the organization and is directly responsible for communication and maintenance of information.  He/she will serve as the contact person for access to administrative staff functions.

The optimal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years progressive business experience and at least two years of medical office or one year of home health experience. The Administrative Assistant must be proficient in word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software.

Admissions Office Nurse

Penn Medicine is looking for an Admissions Office Nurse who will act as a primary and secondary responder for initiating client record information; intake of referrals.

The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with the nurse manager on staffing, participate with the physician and professional staff in coordinating home care services. The Office Nurse will ensure that client referrals meet federal state and accreditation standards for service reimbursement.

The qualified applicant must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, one year of home health experience and have the ability to function effectively as a team member. A knowledge of and proficiency using MS Word, Outlook Express, and E-mail is required.
