The Chester County university that produced Class of 1990 business undergraduate Elizabeth Faunce and lured her back as a professor in 2011 after a doctorate degree in management and a career as a financial planner and FDIC examiner is now celebrating her selection as a 2015 Teaching Excellence Award winner.
The regional accolade from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs is a reflection of the quality of the
Immaculata University Business and Accounting Department and its lasting legacy, Faunce said in a recent announcement.
“It is extremely humbling to be the recipient of this year’s award,” she said. “Honestly, this award is not about me – rather it is a validation of the efforts of all faculty members in the business department.”
And a boost to Immaculata’s reputation among its business school peers across the globe; Faunce will now advance to contend for an International Teaching Award.
