Announcing Tech360 Line-up: Chris Dima, Andrew Schwabe, Special Agent Stephen Morrow and More

Tech360, a full-day event focused on tech education, leadership development, innovation and networking will take place at Penn State Great Valley on Friday, April 24. The event features keynote speakers Marc Andonian, vice president and executive partner of the Gartner executive program, and Stephen Morrow, special agent with the United States Secret Service assigned to the electronic/financial crimes squad in Philadelphia.

4.14.2015 tech 360Technology leaders from the area’s top companies will discuss how to best leverage the latest technology in today’s business climate specifically big data, cyber security, leadership and innovation. CTOs, IT managers and architects, project leaders and anyone who works with technology will gain valuable knowledge that is immediately applicable.

This event is at the very core of the VISTA 2025 goal for Chester County to establish an innovation culture that supports entrepreneurship and business growth.

“The focus of the day is to bring spirited like minds together to learn, share and cultivate new ideas to form new commerce opportunities that will continue the economic health of Chester County,” said Gary Smith, president and chief executive officer, Chester County Economic Development Council.

Technical sessions will be held on cyber security with Pete Eisengrein, senior vice president of voice engineering with Evolve IP and Andrew Schwabe, hacker entrepreneur, currently the CEO of analytics start-up Formatic.ly and previously founded Point.io; big data with Brad Miller and Chris Dima, co-founders of MongoSluice, (Chris Dima is also the founder of Walnut St. Labs) and architects Azad Annapaneni, Karunesh Bhardwaj and Donovan Stockton of The Vanguard Group.

Leadership sessions will be held on the employer perspective with Terri Zandhuis, vice president of human resources at eBay; and the individual perspective with Tish Squillaro of Candor Consulting.

Michael Harrington, partner in the law firm of Fox Rothschild, will talk about innovation in the region followed by an Innovation Expo, highlighting several regional innovative companies who will each give a brief description of their products and/or services. The event will be wrapped up with a networking reception featuring locally sourced food and beverages.

The event is co-sponsored by the Innovative Action Technology Group (ITAG) and the Ideas x Innovation Network (i2n), initiatives of the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC). Penn State Great Valley is hosting the event at its Conference Center, located at 30 East Swedesford Road, Malvern. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:30 p.m.
