Advanced Plasma Solutions Establishes Amptech, Plans Shared Open Workspace

Advanced Plasma Solutions is opening an Advanced Manufacturing Makerspace with Plasma and 3D Printing Technologies (AmpTech) at APS headquarters in Malvern this spring.

Founding partner APS is establishing AmpTech as a resource to companies, entrepreneurs, educators and inventors working in plasma technology and 3D printing.

Roman Fedorovsky, APS CEO, said plasma technology and 3D printing are creating innovative product solutions.

“With AmpTech we are bridging the gap between fundamental scientific research, creating and enabling our customers and partners to realize game changing market ready products,” Fedorovsky said. “By combining Plasma with 3D Printing we are complementing and accelerating product innovation under one roof.”

APS’s plasma technology is used in many industries including agriculture and medicine. The privately held company was founded in 2011 and provides the collaborative workspace to transform plasma research into sustainable and responsible products.

AmpTech provides education, product testing and commercialization services and a shared collaborative business environment for businesses operating within the makerspace.

Local businesses interested in working in the 20,000-square-foot shared office space at 31 General Warren Blvd. in Malvern are invited to an open house at on Thursday, March 19. Read more about Amptech here.
