On Saturday, head to Bucktoe Creek Preserve in Avondale from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for Falling Snowflakes! Bundle up for a morning winter walk through the frosty meadows of Bucktoe Creek Preserve learning about the wondrous snowflake. Bring your families for snowflake crafts at the conclusion of the walk! $3 TLC members; $5 non-members.

And on Sunday, beat the cold and winter and check out the Orchid Extravaganza at Longwood Gardens, where winter is anything but cold, dreary, and snowy! Discover nearly 5,000 vibrant orchids crafted into exquisite arrangements and forms, and check out the Indoor Children’s Garden when you are done!
