A new product line for water and sewer utilities will benefit Europe, the Middle East and Africa when Bentley Systems of Exton launches OpenUtilities early next year.

“We are very excited about OpenUtilities providing a promising future for the sisNET community,” German utility GIS administrator Daniel Steinhilber said in a WorldConnector.net article. “Bentley has been keeping us involved in their plans for moving their utilities products forward. We are currently aligning our plans to ensure that we can make a smooth transition once OpenUtilities becomes available to us.”

The new software offering includes geographic information systems capabilities, design workflow management, estimating, visualization and mobile application access.
