Duchesnay Reports Flagship Anti-Nausea Medication Is Gaining Approval

The Rosemont pharmaceutical firm Duchesnay USA announced its medication  Diclegis® which treats nausea and vomiting during pregnancy is now available under Medicaid programs in four states.

Texas, California, Nebraska and Tennessee have approved coverage, as have numerous commercial insurance companies.  According to Duchesnay, Diclegis is the only FDA-approved medicine for pregnancy-related nausea and is safe and effective.

Duchesnay USA is a healthcare company devoted to safeguarding the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their unborn babies. Its affiliate company, Duchesnay Inc., was founded in 1970 in Canada.

The family-owned company realigned its business in 1992 to focus specifically on pregnant women after a family member experienced a very difficult pregnancy. Duchesnay USA established its office in Rosemont in 2011.
