County Seeks Hazard Mitigation Plan Feedback As Winter Storm Recedes

According to the Transportation Management Association of Chester County weekly email, the Chester County Mitigation Committee is looking for community feedback on the draft version of their long awaited Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Chester County has recently completed the draft version of the county-wide hazard mitigation plan.  The mitigation plan aims to reduce the impacts from future disasters by outlining actions that can be taken now, before the emergency begins.  They are looking for the public’s input and local knowledge to aid in ensuring they have covered the concerns of the community in this plan.
The 274 page draft plan can be viewed at VISTA Today here.  Comments will be accepted here until March 1st.
