Chester County Real Estate Developer Goes Atlantic City
Picking up on a story originally reported by The Press of Atlantic City, Philly.com reported this morning an affiliate of Devon-based Endeavor Property Group plans to buy the long-shuttered 800 room, 75,000-square-foot Atlantic Club Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
Endeavor, with offices on Lancaster Avenue in Devon, describes itself as, “one of the fastest growing and most dynamic real estate enterprises in the Philadelphia region”
The firm has several Chester County properties including a 30-unit town-home development behind Paoli Library and a planned project consisting of approximately 850,000 SF of mixed-use including 500 residential units near the recently announced Paoli Transportation Center.
According to philly.com:
The Press of Atlantic City reported the deal Tuesday night, citing newly filed property records. It says an affiliate of the Devon-based Endeavor Property Group LLC is buying the complex from TJM Properties, but the purchase price has not been disclosed.
Neither Endeavor or TJM Properties would confirm the report.
The casino and hotel which employed 1,600 people when it closed, has been shuttered since January 2014.
