PECO has received the fourth annual United Way Regional Impact Award from the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

The award, given to select companies for their support of nonprofits and community-focused endeavors, was accepted by Craig L. Adams, PECO president and CEO, during the Chamber’s Dec. 10 Red Carpet Dinner.

“PECO has been a longtime supporter of United Way’s work to transform the lives of children, adults, families and seniors in the region,” said Anthony J. Conti, interim president and CEO of United Way.

“It is an honor to thank and recognize the contributions of PECO and its employees because they are an important partner in helping to improve education, income, health and access to basic needs for so many community members.”

As a top corporate partner, PECO generously contributes to United Way’s Impact Fund, annual campaign and sponsors special events. Leaders from the company also serve on UWGPSNJ’s board of directors and Campaign Cabinet.
